1) cats' whiskers are long, sensitive hairs.
If one of these whiskers touches
something, it immediately sends
a message to the cat's brain. Then
the brain tells the body what to do.
So cats really need their whiskers!

2) If cat puts its head through some railings and its whiskers pass
through without touching the bars, that means its whole body can get
through ! the whiskers help the cat not to get stuck.

3)Cats whiskers help them to know which way the Wind is blowing. This helps them
to land in the right place when they jump.
